Ever since I got my hands on the Naked Heat Palette, I’ve been playing around with it coming up with different looks. Here’s some of the products I used to create my go-to look that I’ve been absolutely in love with!
This look incorporates warm tones (duh) and an orange-y red shade all over the lid, as well as a nice sharp winged eyeliner and nude lips.
You could pair this with red lips for extra heat, or use nude lips to help the eyes stand out!
First, I laid down a couple of stripe of type angled underneath my eyes to create a sharp edge. That’s my secret trick for getting neat, crisp shadow and liner. I went in with a fluffy crease brush and applied Low Blow in my crease and slightly up the browbowne. Then I took a flat brush and put He Devil all over my lid and slightly underneath my eyes along my lower lash line. To deepen the look, I put Cayenne in the outer V just a little bit, and I laid down Dirty Talk on the center of my lid for a pop of subtle shimmer. For the inner crease, I used the highlighter I’m going to be using on my face. For eyeliner, I used Maybelline Eye Studio Black Gel Liner to create a wing. Having the tape comes in super handy here if you’re not great at creating sharp wings. You can be messy and still end up with a pointed wing at the end. To finish off the eyes, I used my new favorite, the It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara, on my top and bottom lashes.
I used my Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Foundation in Medium Beige on top of the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water. I love this combo because the primer water hydrates my dry skin, and the foundation looks smooth and natural despite being a clay texture. It also includes SPF 30 which is always a plus! Then I used my Tarte Shape Tape Concealer underneath my eyes and on my eyelids to cover up my dark circles and as a primer for my shadows. I brushed my Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer in Hotel Heiress over the perimeter of my face and slightly under my cheekbones to create a subtle contour. I also brushed it lightly over my nose for a sun-kissed look. Then I dusted Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso on my cheekbones to create a subtle glow. For highlight, I dusted a mix of the four highlighters from the Tarteist Pro Glow Highlight and Contour Palette on top of my cheekbones, on the bridge of my nose, my cupid’s bow, and a bit on my browbone for a glowy complexion. I filled in my eyebrows with Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Chocolate.
I skipped the lip liner today and just went straight in with one of my favorite nude colors, the Tarte Color Splash Lipstick in Colada. Then, for a little added shine, I topped it off with Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in Nude Touch (which has unfortunately been discontinued!).
And that’s it! I hope you guys enjoy the look and maybe try it out for yourself! What’s your favorite look for the summer? Let me know in the comments!
